Jimmy started him music career playing mandolin in a string band at the age of 9 until he reached high school.  He formed several bands in high school, including a goth band..ala cure, UB40,  New wave band the Police, Duran Duran, U2 and a Hair metal band Warrent, Ratt, Motley Crue, G & R.    After high school he attended the University of DE where he performed in an orignal band called PUSH.  The band charted the single Blondie's BMW in Lancaster, PA and Wilmington DE.  Members of PUSH moved onto form the band Azure Drake who released the single 'Looking for a Change' which topped WSTW 93.7 play chart in the summer of 1995.  Azure Drake toured and performed at many of the music conferences including Toronto, Philidelphia, Richmond, and New Orleans.  

Azure Drake shared the stage with many national acts including Hootie and the Blowfish, Modern English, The Outfield, Cheap Trick, Blackfoot, Chevelle, Johnny Neal, Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, and Rick Derringer.  ( I know I am missing a few but memory fades quickly when you are in a band)   Azure Drake turned its attention to covers when some original members decided to move onto other ventures.

Jimmy formed Hyjinx with three former members of Azure Drake,  Jason, Matt, and Danny.  Jason is the lone survivor in the current lineup.
